DAY FIFTEEN

A hot weekend led to a hot Monday. It was even hot at six in the morning on my bike ride to work. Between the air conditioning at work set to Arctic at work and the giant humming behemoth that squats in the dining room window at home and manages to keep the downstairs cool, it isn't too bad. Well, the bike rides get a little steamy, but otherwise it's pretty cool. The weather is supposed to break tomorrow and we'll get the obligatory storms.
I spent the whole day building a job that was a huge pain, but then I figured out a way to make it easier when the client approves the proof.
Got home and took a little nap, I was beat mostly from the heat. Dennis wanted to make dinner and I said he could if he washed the dishes. He did it without batting an eye. Dinner was great. He made steak, fried potatoes and carrots and it all turned out really well. Dessert was some junk from the nearby gas station that I biked to.
It was Monday so we watched Hell's Kitchen. Before that I watched the Paul Naschy flick THE WEREWOLF VS. THE VAMPIRE WOMAN. Pretty cool 70's Eurotrash. Dan the Man liked the werewolf. Dan was pretty happy when he got home from school. He was wearing the Cthulu shirt that Stew made him for his birthday. Dan's teacher, Mr. Brown, bowed down to Dan as the Lord of Cthulu. Pretty happy moment for a seven year old when you are proclaimed Lord and Master over a fictious elder god.
We camped out in the livingroom to beat the heat yet again and watched JAWS as we went to sleep.
Another day at The Waltz Compound.
