NINETY-FOUR

Wet and soggy on the way to work. I have this one hill I go down and it was fun missing the puddle that stretched over an entire lane. Thank God for the showers at work. Nothing to get the chill out of these bones like a hot shower and a cup of coffee.
Work was the same, nothing new. The newbie hasn't left yet so, that's a good thing. Seems like we are swamped at work and it only gets worse by the end of the year. I'll have the newbie trained just in time to have to work open to close anyway just to keep up with what we have to get done. Oh well, lots of extra money for the holidays!
While talking to my buddies on the Yahoo! group Eurotrash Paradise, Dan Taylor mentioned meatloaf and mashed potatoes and then all I wanted was that. Thankfully, we had some ground lamb in the fridge along with the other things for meatloaf. It turned out okay, but the mashed potatoes and gravy were the best. The meatloaf needed more salt and some other kind of meat to give the loaf more texture. Lamb is a little too tender for something like this.
I got a huge box of movies from Patti Stanley to review for the Penguin Comics site so that should keep me busy for a little while. Watched some stupid, gonzo, tattooed porn that made me grumpy. The whole gonzo movement is such a pile of crap anyway and the sooner it goes away the better. It reminds me a lot of the majority of the shot on video horror that litters the video stores nowadays. Just amateurish crap.
