DAY TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SIX

Saturday morning and our little Dandelion reminded us that we needed to be at the museum for some history thingie. Mrs. Yankee, the principal from the kids' school was there as well as Mr. Brown, Dan's teacher. They had this cool new exhibit of a yurt. A yurt is a dwelling used primarily by Mongolian nomads. I had seen a movie called Cave Of The Yellow Dog that dealt with the nomads of Mongolia and it was fascinating. Kind of cool to get to see a yurt up close after that. I'll have to find that movie and watch it again.
After the museum thing, we went home, dropped off Dandelion and took Dennis out for Chinese food and he got a new video game. It's our new thing that each payday we pick a new kid and go out to do some5thing with the kid. Delia is up next for festivities in two weeks.
After that it was time to grab all the kids and head for Hobby Lobby for craft things to do. I got a new model that should take weeks to put together. Fun, fun, for me anyway. Dan got some space age crystal that you grow. Delia got a rubber prop plane. Dennis got a snap together model and Dandelion got some velvet art to color. Martha found these stuffed keychains that you use yarn to kind of sew them together. Very cool.
We went home and did crafts and then we all got ready for bed. Too bad we lose an hour because of daylight savings time. Bleah!
