DAY THREE HUNDRED AND ELEVEN

Saturday and not only is it Dennis' day to have fun, but it is Free Comic Day! Free Comic Day is always the first Saturday of MAy. They give away tons of comics which is very cool.
Stew and his two little needed a ride to the comic shop which was cool. Dennis and Dan were the only ones to come along for the ride. Dandy and Delia had other plans. Stew needed to go a few places because his van went to heck. Transmission problems, ouch! That was cool. We hit the comic shop and got some coffee and went to Meijer and the video game store. We hit the chinese buffet for lots of yummy food.
After that we dropped off Stew and his littles and Martha, Dennis, Dan and I went to the mall for a little while. Dennis got a Dark Lotus t-shirt and a wrist band. I saw a new pair of shoes that I want that have Meaty and Mini Horse from the Rob& Big show on them. Apparently Rob designs shows for skateboarders. I could care less, I just thought the shoes looked cool.
Later we picked up Delia and took her and Dan home. we made sure that Dandy knew she was coming home to no parents and were off.
I thought Dennis would want to watch the new Iron Man movie, but he and Delia saw it yesterday with their friends. Bummer! He picked Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay. I have not seen the first film, Harold and Kumar go To White Castle but I may have to now. This one was very funny and irreverent towards a lot of subjects. I did like a certain line that was said by an actor pretending to be George W. Bush. He told the duo that it's not important to believe in your government. Believe in your country instead. Pretty wise words coming from a stoner movie if you ask me, but I liked it a lot. On the way out of the theater I spotted my old friend, Tom. Tom's son, Tre and Dennis were in scouts together when I was a leader. It was good to see him and he looked like he had trimmed down quite a bit. Working on that myself so, it was good to see him looking so fit. He was busy with tickets so we said hi and went on our way.
After that we hit Steak and Shake and my stomach was bothering me because I never learn my lesson about eating movie popcorn with too much fake butter. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a cup of decaf. That went down pretty well and our waitress was cute and funny. Always a plus.
That was enough of a day for anyone so we went to the store to get stuff for tomorrow's bake sale at church.
We went home and stated in on it. Dandelion, Dan and MArtha were the biggest helpers. Dennis helped a little reluctantly and Delia not at all. We made a pound cake, a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and sprinkles, brownies, chocolate chip cookies and butterscotch cookies. We made a lot.
I stayed up the longest tending to the batches of cookies. Everyone else crashed before I made it upstairs to bed around midnight.
